An antiques market on an international level
The finest furniture and accessories on Hamburg's longest summer terrace
The Collectors Antique-Market in the Colonnaden is said to be unique – and not just amongst specialized dealers from England, Italy, the Netherlands, France, and the rest of Europe. Also hunters and collectors of valuable treasures, lovers of rarities from the English way of life, or connoisseurs of precious and beautiful items testify to the cult status of this event, far beyond the borders of Hamburg.
On the tables of Hamburg's longest summer terrace, the antique dealers present their treasures: fine table linen from the Provence, Bohemian glass vases, continental porcelain, as well as elegant silver and crystal are effectively placed into the scene, and act as highlights to English furniture in the styles of Chippendale, Regency, or Sheraton.
With their irresistible "charme à la parisienne", the appealing pavilions and open-air booths will draw you into the Colonnaden, the charming pedestrian zone that stretches along the historical arcades from the Jungfernstieg to the Esplanade.
The entrance into the appealing open-air living room is free of charge, and the visit is always worth your while, even in bad weather. The numerous cafés and restaurants offer the best loge views of the dealings and hustle of the market.
